THE FOURTH AND FINAL BOOK IN THE ENDING SERIES.
A year ago, the Virus killed off most people in the world.
A year ago, strange things started happening to those who survived. Some of them transformed into something dark and sinister, while others evolved, becoming something more, something beyond human.
A year ago, Dani and Zoe were lost. They traversed the country to find one another, losing some of the people dearest to them along the way. They fought for their right to simply live, uncovered long-buried secrets, and discovered irreversible truths. And after everything Dani and Zoe have been through—even with the battle wounds that they bear—they’re still not safe.
It’s time for the struggling to end, for survivors to take back their lives, their families, their safety. It’s time to really begin to live, and to do that, they must wait for the first rays of dawn.

Before The Dawn The Ending Series #4 eBook Lindsey Pogue Lindsey Fairleigh
Before The Dawn is the conclusion to the After the Ending series. There were a lot of story-lines to wrap up and questions to answer but authors Lindsey Pogue and Lindsey Fairleigh did a phenomenal job of finishing off the series with a bang! There is a lot of excitement, character development, and personal growth in the story. We get more involved with our entire group of favorite (Zoe, Dani, Jason, Jake, Harper, Chris, Sanchez, and the rest of the gang). A lot of series falter when trying to conclude their series, but Before the Dawn was a great final book and left me satisfied with how everything turns out. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but this book lives up to its expectations!Product details

Before The Dawn The Ending Series #4 eBook Lindsey Pogue Lindsey Fairleigh Reviews
If you like a good apocalypse book, here is a great series to read. I enjoyed every minute of reading these books. I just wished the authors didn't limit the number of books. They could take a look at Jacquelyn Druga's BEGINNINGS series. I've got the first 20 books in that series and haven't tired of it yet.
I would love to read more about the world and characters Lindsey Fairleigh has created.
Love love love this book. I wish it was longer though! I read the whole serious in two weeks! I wish there was an epilogue at the end so you knew what Dani’s baby was like etc... but overall a really good read
I read this series because the first book was much grittier than I expected. People died that you had grown to like. This book had none of that. This book led up to a very epic climactic event that turned out to be very anticlimactic. Not action. And only one death that the characters were way more upset about than I was. The first book in this series left it with a ton of potential and after an okay second book and an abysmal third book, the final book left me with much to be desired. Loved the idea, but they left a lot on the table.
The characters were a little too light and airy for me and the author relied too much on misplaced guilt as a way to attempt to develop the characters. Plus, the story line was a little too neatly tied up. Without giving too much away the whole thing did not have to centre on the lead characters. That being said, there were a few developments that you don't see in other end of the world series and it gave me food for thought.
I enjoyed the entire Ending series. This is the final chapter of the series. The major conflicts of this story involve recovering Jason from the Colony then the subsequent rescue of Zoe. The climax of the story is the battle between the protagonist rag-tag band of survivors against the Colony’s forces. Spoiler alert-the good guys win, the story wraps up nicely, and they all live happily ever after.
This is a corny, typical post-end of the world as we know it survival series. The writing isn’t anything that’s going to make this a classic, but it’s interesting and fast-paced. It’s an easy read and intriguing, I devoured the series in just a week. If you’re looking for a quick entertaining read and want to find out how this story wraps up, this book is for you.
This was a nice ending to a good series. Although at times it was difficult to figure out who was Jason and who was Jake and who was related to whom, the series held my interest. I will buy more Lindsey collaborations and individual books.
Dani and Zoe continue their tale of survival. A year after the virus that either killed people, turned them into crazies, or provided them with paranormal abilities, these best friends are trying to establish a home with what remains of their family and friends. A rather unexpected turn of events shatters their idyllic setting and pits them off against the General once again.
Fairleigh and Pogue’s final book of The Ending Series Before the Dawn brings the story that has taken us around the country and back again to a predictable conclusion. This book did not hold my interest as well as the previous ones in the series. The voice of each chapter changed multiple times. With few exceptions the storyline was very predictable. Annie’s age jumped from 6-years old back to 5. Very distracting.
While most of the lingering questions were answered new ones were brought to light and left hanging. Was Zoe literally speaking when she said the General wasn’t completely human? I won’t post the others as they would contain too many spoilers.
I didn’t hate this book, but it could have been better.
